This is an interesting use of fldigi as a transport layer for a digital
packet protocol. Let Danny know if you try out his DDP.

Hello Dave,
I just thought you would like to know that a program I've developed can
use Fldigi. It's called DDP - Danny's Digital Packet, it's a protocol
designed to replace packet radio using standard off-the-shelf equipment
without the pain of configuring it all up.
My project is hosted at http://code.google.com/p/ddp, it's free, open
source and runs on practically any operating system (I develop and test
it on FreeBSD) - this is mainly due to it being wrote in Python.
Feel free to have a look, any comments or questions are welcome.

Danny - 2E0DPK.
