I've been looking into this over the weekend. 

From what I can see uRouter has three different ways which other programmes can use to communicate with it.

One of these is Unix FIFOs. 

Now I'm not a programmer but looking through the source code for FLDIGI I get the impression that this is what has been implemented
in FLDIGI and what it uses to launch uRouter and handle the PTT function.

If this is correct would it be a matter now of writing the code to handle the RADIO port (CAT) data described in the above page?
