You're quite welcome.  Yes, indeed, those were heady days.  I remember well waiting to get the next tape from Berkeley (and later Sun), spending hours first booting from tape and extracting everything, and then building and configuring the rest of the world.  Going with the whole Next architecture (Mach + NextStep - that's why all of the Cocoa classes start with NS) likely saved Apple from extinction, IMO.  I was sad to see the PPC go too, as it maintained some architectural diversity in the world, but the x86 transition was also the right move for any number of reasons.  Of course, there's still ARM ...
