Congrats on getting started with PSK31.  Just watch your rig's AlC meter.
The optimum setting is where you show the output power you desire with
no ALC showing on the meter.  Chen has excellent documentation on this
topic in his online cocoaModem manual and it applies to just about all
software packages.

If you see me on PSK, please breal.  I like your call.  I tried to get W5RK
and lost out in the FCC lottery two years ago.
