[Ham-Mac] RUMTrol and the iBook G4

Have you installed a Mac OS X USB serial driver for that interface  
adaptor?  I "believe" the chipset they use, is the FTDchipset.

Download and install this driver for PPC based Mac, reboot and you  
should see an addition serial port add when the cable is plugged into  
your iBook.

http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP/MacOSX/FTDIUSBSerialDriver_v2_1_10.dmg

If you have an Intel based Mac use this driver.
http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP/MacOSX/UniBin/FTDIUSBSerialDriver_v2_2_10.dmg
