[Ham-Mac] RUMTrol and the iBook G4

I'm trying to get RUMTrol to work on an old iBook G4 laptop (running  
OSX 10.4, though). The interface I'm using is the Radio Shack 20-047  
Scanner Programming Cable, which has a USB connector on one end and  
the 1/4" phone plug on the other.

It looks to me as though RUMTrol just isn't talking to the right port.  
In the Preferences menu, there's only one selection--modem--but when  
selected, it still doesn't seem to want to talk to either of the USB  
ports.

Any thoughts?
