Hi Jack

I was reading C/NET and they were reporting that M$ in an effort to  
have compliance with the ACID TEST_2 at one point had made a graphic  
that would show up instead of being rendered by IE_7
of course this defeats the purpose of the ACID TEST

M$ supposedly has IE_8 in the works but only in trial and not even  
Beta as far as I know and M$ is trying to decide if they want to even  
try to meet the ACID TEST2 standard - ACID TEST 3 which is not out yet  
will show a moving graphic and as of C/NET's article - no one had met  
the 3 test
