I am having trouble with the band panel and an FT-2000. I have two
issues, actually.
1. The USA band plan is never right. I always have to fix it by
editing Band_Plans/USA.dat.
When I "Update Internet Files" is often makes it worse. This isn't a
show stopper, but it is
a rough spot.
2. I can't seem to make the mode selection work for anything other
than USB, LSB and CW.
In particular RTTY and PKT don't respond correctly; they select USB.
The mode pulldown
menu seems to work correctly, but not the mode selection that results
from clicking on the band
chart or double clicking on an entry in the cluster list. I have
tried various encodings in the
USA.dat file, e.g. PKT and PKTL, but they don't make any difference.
I have no trouble selecting modes this way using the 746-PRO driver,
but the FT-2000 driver has
me stumped.
Being an independent cuss I have been struggling with this for some
time, but I now officially
give up and am asking for help.
Am I doing something wrong?
Can I fix this myself?
if not, who can I beg to fix it?
