Just got my imac g5 back from an apple service provider and they
replaced the power supply. (didn't say anything about bulging
capacitors) and the service was free under apples extended recall
program for the imac shutting off randomly. It had finally got totthe
place where it would not turn on at all.
Seems to be working OK. but this is just the first day back in
operation
