[Ham-Mac] hello and SignaLink USB question

Actually CocoaModem does just fine with the SignaLink USB, allowing
you to select the device in the app itself and not needing to play
with the system control panels.

The SignaLink is a nifty little box, with very nice circuitry (wish I
had designed it). The only thing I don't like about it is its
reliance on the internal VOX for PTT. I have used mine quite a bit
for receive since I got it a few weeks after Christmas (it was a
Christmas present that came in late...). It works well with both
Windows (lots of software on the CD) and Mac software (CD? sigh...).
I am very pleased with the way it works with CocoaModem. Of course,
the SignaLink USB is just a sound interface and CocoaModem is doing
the heavy lifting there.

What do I wish it had? A USB serial adapter for serial IO with the
radio. Other than that it is very close to what I would design...
