[Ham-Mac] hello and SignaLink USB question

I think it acts like an external sound device (I use a Griffin iMic
here). Whether or not it can be used separately from the builtin
sound card depends on the software. Some software allows you to
select the sound device, while other programs (e.g., CocoaModem) use
the setting from the Sound part of System Preferences to select the
input and output devices and thus do not allow both to be used
simultaneously, AFAIK.
