I spent an hour on the phone with Radio Shack, CompUSA and Fry's. Nobody
seems to carry a Mini-8 DIN to DB-9 cable. Now I am really confused over
the RS-422 vs. RS-232.

Some things are just too hard and this may be one of them. I wonder what
kind of interface cable Kenwood users are using with MacLoggerDX. I have
never tried MacLoggerDX but the same cable should work.

I used the Keyspan USA-28X with the old PK-232 but it had a DB-25 connector.
I have several old modem cables Mini-8 to DB-25 but they will not work with
the Kenwood that needs a DB-9.

I am just about to give up!
