Correct

Not correct. When I PUT it to sleep it went into a coma.

Well, it's looking like the scanner was the cause. It's unplugged now 
and I can plug it in if I need to use it. Like I said, the printer in 
the hub does not cause a problem.

If the problem comes back, I'll report. But for now, it seems cured.
