Dick,

I guess I am a little slow on what I found out. However, we have
just moved our disabled daughter from VA to Plano, TX and have been
very busy getting everything worked out and moved in. I am glad to
say that she is doing just fine here.

Back to the problem. I called Tigertronics. At first he said that
it was not enough output from the iMac to the radio. He has never
worked with a Mac product and is not familiar with the problem of
volume output with it. He also suggested that I try it with my PC
laptop, which I did and had the same result.

It did not trigger the PPT in the PRO III. However, when TX PSK it
sent out the signal when I pushed the TRANSMIT button on the radio.
I then noticed that the red power light was not on in the SignaLink.
It had been on when using it with the PRO III, so I don't know what
happened in the interval. I guess I did something. I called back and
told them what had happened. I measured power coming into the unit
from the radio. It w as coming in.

He told me to send it back, which I have done. I think I may now
have two problems. Firsts, was the output from the computer not
triggering the PPT, and second, something I may have done with the
cabling that blew something in the unit. I will keep you informed,
probably by the end of next week.

Take care,

73, Dick, N5XRD
