[Ham-Mac] Puzzling error on my G5

Hi folks,

Can anyone tell me how I can work around this error?  I'm getting it on
my G5 when I try to install a Security Update for Tiger:

"A networking error has occurred: unauthorized (-1). Make sure you can
connect to the Internet, then try again"

This machine is on the network, I can get on the internet with it and
everything.

Any clues out there from the gurus?  I was trying to update the software
in preparation to install Echomac.
