How do you use the Keyspan USB/Serial Adapter with cocoaModem and the SL-1+?
I have a Keyspan that I use to operation the PK-232 and MacRATT for Packet
in the Classic mode.   Maybe you are using the Keyspan for some other
control or logging software?

As I recall the Keyspan has to be setup to work in OS9 or OSX but cannot do
both.
