[Ham-Mac] Mac Classic

Hello-

I just joined the list a few moments ago. I'm looking for software,
hardware, and ideas about setting up my log station. I'm a PC guru by
day, but when I get home I like to toy around with vintage gear. I
was cleaning the shack and I came across my Mac Classic. It's an M68K
Mac with 1MB of RAM, running MacOS 6 I think.

While not a laptop, this thing is somewhat portable. I'm thinking of
making a portable logging station out of it, mainly for geek factor.
There's something truly geeky about a field day operation on old
school hardware.

Being a PC geek, I have a few questions:

What logging software is available for vintage Macs? All I can find
is for OS9/X
Is there an interface that can be built for an IC-756?
Has anyone done any logging using m68k linux?
Am I just extremely weird and I should just abandon this stupid idea?

I'm hoping somebody here can help me. Thank you!
