Thanks to those who responded - my tiger arrived today - but I want to make
backups of everything before doing an install - which I plan to be archive &
install.

apple service was great, I orderd a couple of days ago, but used wrong
expiry of CC, so got a mail asking I contact them, I rang yesterday and had
to place a new order, which was too late for that days dispatch, so wasn't
expecting it until next Tues - it arrived 08:30z this morning :-)
