thanks for the info. I have the 11 cd's they were sealed when I got 
them,just marked for e mac. Maybe there is something in the bios thats 
its looking for?

   The eBay seller apparently sold you his computer installation disc 
which includes Tiger instead of the actual Tiger discs.

  I will nose around on the Macosg.com forum and see if anyone knows a 
way around this.
