I've always assumed that the Mac system was immune to most
viruses that plague the PC world. Yet, our Mac guru at our Long
Island MacUser group says it's a good idea to have an Anti-virus
program as insurance...And I guess like a virus in the world of
medicine they may learn ( hackers) to mutate some of them. I had
Virex at one time, but this same guru said the Norton product was
better.
It's also kind of weird that someone would spend their time
writing code to make viruses , just for the sake of aggravating the
hell out of everyone else. Kind of a perverse mind, I would say.. 73
