Thanks to everyone that gave me good advice.  I found out a lot about 
my computer,  However, I tried everything that you all suggested and 
it didn't work.  I finally bought an upgrade to Tiger, which I was 
going to do anyway but not quite so soon.  IT WORKS - up came 
ARRL.ORG!!!

Thanks to all - boy what a great bunch of people, it certainly is my 
pleasure to know you.
