I don't remember what version OSX he's running, but
Follow the link below regards Times RO font and see if your setup has
this. Follow directions on the page.

This font prevents some pages from loading in Safari. I've been
searching Apple discussions, but so far have not come up with
anything else that would seem to apply to his problem.
