Hello everyone!
I have some exciting news for those of you who use EchoMac. Since my
time has been severely constrained and I haven't been able to do
anything on the project, I am both pleased and excited to announce
that someone has graciously volunteered to stop forward and take over
the maintenance of the project!
Jim Tittsler, 7J1AJH/AI8A, who has already made several minor
improvements, will be the new lead developer of the EchoMac project.
The project will continue to be a free software package, and I will
still try to be involved, although if I had the time to do much I would
have been doing it. <smile>
Please join me in Welcoming Jim, and if you are interested in assisting
him with the project I'm sure he wouldn't turn down any offers. I think
he would really be interested in someone who had some prior experience
with Objective-C and the Cocoa frameworks, but I'm guessing that any
and all help is welcome to keep the project moving.
Thanks to everyone for your great support of the program and your kind
words. If you are as kind to Jim as you all were to me, I think that
EchoMac will have a bright future.
73,
Steve, N9YTY
