Jim,

I recall seeing the FB F6FBB system back when everyone was using Packet and
it was indeed a nice BBS program.  I was not aware of a Linux version.

Anybody running AX.25 packet in your area?  The packet people here have all
gone over to APRS and there is some emergency nets that use packet; however=
,
all BBS systems have been closed down.  One exception is
"gw.n5vda.ampr.org" that is real nice.

You may want to take a look a JNOS that does run on the Mac. I used it for
tcpip packet and it comes with all of the BBS stuff like F6FBB.
