Aloha -

I tried this a couple months ago, and I don't think it made it through
- so , try again...

Several years ago I used MacContest 3.5 for my contest logging program,
and it worked well for my single operator needs, and before the advent
of Cabrillo and ADIF.
Alas - it was System 6 / non-Multifinder compatible only (though I
haven't tried it under Sys 9 :-) )

Does anyone know:

a> Does it work under sys 9 - or does it crash there too :-(

b> Does MacContest 4.0 work? and is it still available?

c> Any chance of porting it to Sys 9 or OSX?

d> and if I'm dreaming about the port - with a DXpedition mode for all
the bands (which I think 4.0 had)

(Why this program and not the others - Speed and ease of use in a
contest -
eg. Click on band and Mode to start
- enter call <Ret>
- enter RST <Ret>

Go to next QSO
- it has logged and saved the call/rst/date/time/needed serial numbers
- checked for dupes - updated a running score - and the like.

Minimum keystrokes, minimum hand motions, minimum fuss.)

Any thoughts and information is welcome!
