AppleWorks is produced by Apple. The other Office product you saw might 
have been ThinkFree Office, which is pretty good, but not exactly a 
Cocoa application -- looks a little clunky -- but is pretty much 
compatible with MS Office products. OpenOffice, an open-source program 
has supposedly been compiled and will run under OSX - and it is free, 
but I have not yet seen where it is available.
