[Ham-Mac] anti virus software

I'd look into the Apple.com ".mac" subscription - it is pricey, but you get
Virex, which is probably the best anti-virus software for Mac. Norton has
some but Norton has been notoriously buggy over the years with their utility
software for Mac, so I avoid them.
Although as John Merrill pointed out, Macs have been barely touched by
viruses - so far. Even the move to Unix-like OS X has NOT brought about the
influx of viruses that were expected. (knock wood).
With the ".mac" subscription you also get a decent, cheap, automatic backup
program called "Backup" and a bunch of other interesting extras and a sort
of back door apple tech access.
