Or, if you don't mind a bit of fiddling and not quite as much polish
check out OpenOffice as an alternative to MS office. I can't comment on
e-mail 'cause I do that from my Linux computer. Firefox is a dandy
browser - but so is Safari.
As for finance - well, if you want a serious application and (again) are
willing to fiddle to make it work, take a look at SQL-Ledger.
