Get an iPod.  It is a hard drive as well as an mp3 player.  You can 
install all your apps on it and even use it to listen to music while 
you travel between locations.  I even have a full version of OSX 
installed on mine and can boot from it.  I use it when I need to 
troubleshoot a client who has hosed their OSX box.

 >Sooooooo, I'm thinking about getting a firewire drive, where I might 
put ALL my software and stuff (and remove it from the G4?), and
 >sneakernet it back and forth. Or dupe it on the f/w drive, and still 
leave it on the G4, or just install it on both HDs.
