Each author or company has his own rules of course. As far as my 
software is concerned, you can  install it on multiple computers, if 
you're only going to be using one at a time.

You still might want to have a way to move data files back and forth 
between systems. If not too much of a hassle, you could burn them on 
RW CDs to move them around. How often do you go back and forth 
between MD and NJ? The USB memory sticks are also very popular today 
as well. You just need to know in advance what data files you will 
need! ;-)
