Carl,

I was going to suggest the PK-232 connections and found a AEA PK-88 Data
sheet in my file that says
----------
PK-88 Input/Output Connections:

Terminal Interface: RS-232C 25-Pin DB-25 connector with hardware/software
handshake
-----------

I then checked my MacRATT software manual that has a page or two on the
PK-88 and found it interesting that one of the first steps for PK-88 users
is to add a jumper. It says:

-------
Solder a short length of insulated wired to one end of resisters R5 andR7 on
the PK-88 circuit board, shorting them together. Optionally, an insulated
wire with small alligate clips on each end can be used.
--------

BTW, it mentions a special cable provided by AEA with the PK-88 with a
Mini-8 on one end and a DB-25 male on the other end. No description of pin
outs and I have no idea what the jumper does?

BTW, R7 and R7 are on the rear of the PK-88 circuit board.

Good Luck ..... you need to find someone with a PK-88 wiring diagram
