[Ham-Mac] speed test

I had been using iCab because it worked better (and faster) than Netscape or IE on System 9.2, but recently downloaded Mozilla. On a comparison test, Mozilla clocked at 2.9 M as opposed to iCab's 1.1 M on the T-1 I am using.
Since the number returned by the test site must include delays attributable to the browser, I can only assume that there has been some improvement in the Mozilla code, as they claim.
Anyone else do a browser comparison? I would be interested to know how Safari on X compares.
