Granted that it is a lot better than most of the browsers running on
pre-Mac OS X,
but it was certainly beta quality when it came out. It wasn't even as
good as
KDE's Konqueror which it shares code with which surprised me. It is
better now,
but still doesn't show the speed of Camino, now Chimera. Apple is
putting a lot
of effort behind it, so it will catch up eventually.
