Harris, I would save my nerves and time and dump current Safari and 
start all over.  I guess one has to try all the alternatives and 
replacing a bad app with a different one is always on the list of 
things to do.  I can force Safari to crash if I run an old piece of ham 
software along with it.  So in spite of what we are told about 
conflicts not existing because we don't have traditional extensions, 
etc., I would guess we can still have them.  Maybe you have some 3rd 
party item causing heck like I do with that one ham program.
