And I too am running a cable modem, and a G4/867 with 640 mb RAM. IE,
now frozen in time, NEVER crashes. Netscape 7.1 seems just about
perfect, and NEVER crashes.
Among other annoyances, I haven't yet found the way to set/edit the
helper applications, which is a major inconvenience. ALSO (and this
is a biggie for me) The New York Times crossword puzzle timed Java
applets do NOT work in Safari (I am a speed solver). Safari just
ISN'T there yet.
And I have no intention of dumping Eudora, either. In fact, I think
I'll even upgrade to the new version.
