Well, I finally have a version of the ARRL Sample Applications that 
compile for MacOS X using wxWindows.

I have more testing to do, but wanted to share the news that there is 
indeed a light at the end of the tunnel. I have to investigate the best 
way to package these up for people without needing all of the 
development stuff set up, so it will be a short while.

I'll keep you all posted.
