[Ham-Mac] Help with programming project.

Hello,
I am new to the Group so please feel free to look at my ARRL listing.

I am studying C++ and just got 10.3 and taking a hard look at Xcode .
I would like to start supporting Yaesu radios and a neat little mod on 
old motorola syntor's

They are great radios but finding some one to program the syntors is 
getting harder and harder, but this mod is pretty cool.

any help would be great.
I plan to offer the programs as freeware to promote Mac use in the HAM 
world.
