[Ham-Mac] 1st Posting to ham-mac

This is a test to say hello to the members of the ham-mac reflector. My name
is Dick Kriss, AA5VU  and the QTH is Austin, TX.  I have been a Mac user
since 1986 and currently have a G4 running OSX 10.2.4.

I have been having a very hard time interfacing my TS-570DG to the PK-232
and the G4.  For reasons I do not understand my 570 seems deaf to digital
signals in AFSK (LSB) mode but comes to life in FSK.  The only problem with
FSK is the other stations (running AFSK) cannot seem to hear my FSK signal.
If I call CQ, they try to answer and I cannot hear their signals.

I sure would like to talk to someone on the list using a PK-232.

Anyone tired to interface a Tono Theta 777 RTTY/CW/AMTOR Terminal Unit to a
G4?
