[Ham-Mac] ResEdit; making invis. files visible

Under OS X the find command (<command> F) will find invisible files for 
you.
(Use the "+" sign to add a criteria where the "Visibility" criteria is 
chosen and set to "invisible items")
You can then delete the leading "." to make it visible.
