[Ham-Mac] Ground for new shack

Dear Scott,

It would seem there are two aspects to your question. First are you 
looking at the safety aspect of grounding - if so, whilst appreciating 
your effects are in store, get a hold of the ARRL Handbook - the 
'Safety' section deals with all the US aspects of grounding. As M3XDF 
points out we have PEMs in the UK but assume you have similar.

Secondly, if you are looking at grounding from an RF aspect you must 
consider simple RF grounding with earth rods or connecting into the 
house earth.  The alternative is some buried radial system related to 
your antenna and bands you wish to work on.  Enjoy your new home.
