I am here.
I have compiled PREDICT and fed back the (very small) deltas to the
author, so the latest version of PREDICT compiles on OS X with
minimal changes, as Sergei described. However, I haven't used it very
extensively, or with any rig control features. (With apologies to the
purists, I still use InstantTrack under DOS for that. I'm even
working on some enhancements in that area of InstantTrack.)
As for gsat, I haven't done anything with it on OS X, though I have
also run it remotely from Linux on the OS X desktop. I couldn't face
the learning curve to start working on a GTK-based application, when
I'd rather be learning Cocoa.
I've been meaning to prepare an OS X distribution of PREDICT so that
people wouldn't have to keep re-solving the problem of compiling it.
Lack of support (by me) for the fancier clients is one of the reasons
that project is still on the back burner.
So, I'm here but not very helpful on this subject. Sorry.
