Hello all,
I just got onto OS X with a new iMac 17 inch macnine. I came from 9.2
G3 desk top using MacRatt and Marathon with the PK232.
With OS X I cannot use PK232 as MacRatt and Marathon have communication
requirements not supported by X or now by even running 9 classic.
MacRatt and Marathon both look for modem ports and there is no way to
fake it with OS X even using a USB-serial adapter into the Mac. The
apps still want to see modem or printer ports.
Does anyone have any suggestions how I can get back into my PK232 so I
can run the digital modes and run the Marathon contest program? Or,
are there other contest and TNC apps that will run on OS X that I do
not know of?
Thanks,
Greg, wa0bnx
