[Ham-Mac] Time for a change?

As I understand it, BT supply a USB ADSL modem and the driver needs OS9 or
OS X. 

There are alternatives, Draytek 2200USB router to the BT modem and connect
the PowerBook 3400c to that router via ethernet and it should work fine.

The other option is to not go with BT and their special package, just use
another ISP and get a a wires only ADSL deal where you supply the ADSL
router/modem or indeed some ISP will do a package deal. Main thing is to get
an ethernet output from the router so that you can use your PowerBook
without any specific USB drivers.
