[Ham-Mac] Time for a change?

Just a thought - rather than tie yourself to a particular computer for the
ADSL link, why not purchase an ADSL router which will take care of the
routine job of talking to BT then fit your 34l00 with an ethernet PC Card.
(For example the Global Village ones are stil available from a certain US
auction site - I have 2).
Then you can connect any computer to your braodband - the 3400 will still
tend to struggle a bit because of the slower CPu speed but you should see
improved performance - and if you end up buying something newer (e.g a G3
Lombard) then you can connect both.
My Thoughts
