Hi all,

I'm "shotgunning" this email to everybody who has expressed an interest
in DarwinPSK / LinPSK. Volker has finished coding, I've finished
porting, and we have a new version that runs nicely on my iMac (OSX
10.2.6 and Apple X11). It has definable macros as well as all of the
original features and generally seems to run more smoothly than before.
It decodes PSK31 very well, and is supposed to work on RTTY and QPSK as
well as BPSK, although I haven't tried those.

My new MFJ 1275 interface is giving me fits at the moment, as it does
not want to key the Icom 706 on transmit. When I figure out that
hardware glitch, I'll know better if the sound output is OK. Are any of
you guys familiar with the MFJ 1275?

If you want a copy of DarwinPSK 0.7.1, either the source code (which
has a "smart" configure file that will discover if you're on a Mac
instead of a PC and adjust itself accordingly) or the pre-built binary,
wait a few days and then check the LinPSK page on SourceForge at:

	http://linpsk.sourceforge.net/

Volker will be uploading the newest package (LinPSK 0.7.1 / DarwinPSK
0.7.1) soon; the version of LinPSK that's on the site now is difficult
to build on OSX. If you just can't wait, email me, and I'll send you
the tarball for the binary, which is about 732 kB.
