Rather than re-quoting the quotes I would like to add the new EchoMac is
working great. I had several good QSO's over the weekend all using a 56K
telephone connection.

I had very good luck with a generic Apple mic ( the on with the longer plug
was to supply +5 to an amplifier built into the mic housing)

FYI, there is a cool like 9999 called ECHOTEST that plays back your audio.
Good place for on line testing of your EchoMac setup.  Try it
