[Ham-Mac] Are you running OSX on your Mac ?

Hi Chris,

Perhaps I am missing out but still have my early iMac 'B' as my main
computer. As well as ham radio I do a lot of digital photography and find
every time the OS changes I have to get upgrades for the camera download.
I moved from OS 8.5 to OS 9 and had a lot of problems with the Ricoh
software. So much so that I went back to OS 8.5 to avoid all the problems.

I think to change to OSX I need a new Mac with faster processor and lots of
RAM to get the benefits. Father Christmas 2002 perhaps - will have to see
how the new iMac turns out.

Not a very helpful reply but from the feedback there are still a lot of us
using older machines and  still have smiles on our faces!
