[Ham-Mac] Are you running OSX on your Mac ?

I wouldn't go back. I now begrudge any task or program that makes me
fire up Classic, not to mention reboot into MacOS 9. I have switched
some programs I use for various tasks just for that reason.

Yeah, but having never been a Mac programmer before, but coming from
other systems, I have to say that Cocoa is a thing of beauty. Apple
knows that they can't make Carbon go away any time soon, becuase mega
apps like Photoshop, M$ Office, Quark, etc, are all going to be Carbon.
How could you ever really pull that carpet out from under them? At the
same time, though, I'd rather see Apple invest resources in bringing
technologies into the Cocoa frameworks rather than Carbon
implementations as time goes on.
