I'm running OS 9.1 on a Powerbook G3 (Rev. 2). I once tried to 
install OS X long time ago but failed. Though I presume OS X would 
run on the Powerbook well, I stopped trying because I couldn't find a 
good enough reason to use OS X except from having a look at it.
As soon as there will be a Spaceward Ho! 5.0 for OS X, or a Bubble 
Trouble 2.0 for OS X, and no equivalent for OS 9.1, then it will be 
time to install OS X. Maybe even earlier.
