[Ham-Mac] Are you running OSX on your Mac ?

Not running OSX. I won't switch until I need to. Need means I want some
piece of hardware or software which requires it.

Every indication I have is my mostly old applications will run more slowly on
OSX, and there is simply no identifiable benefit from switching.

My primary computers are a 400 MHz iMac and a PowerBook 1400 running System
9.1 and 8.6 respectively. I also have a Powerbook 140, Mac IIci and Mac SE
running System 7 which I use very little. Then there is the Apple II ...

My view is that the iMac and System 9 are more than adequate, and no more
Internet growth is likely to push me since I plan to stay with a phone line
connection. My iMac supports Virtual PC and Windows 98 comfortably which
allows me to run a few PC programs.

I do expect someday to be forced into an upgrade, but it will probably be
when I buy the next computer. Years away.
